A book of condolences has been opened at Glasgow's City Chambers by the Archbishop and the Lord Provost. It will be available for members of the public to sign until Friday evening at 5pm in the entrance foyer of the City Chambers in Glasgow.
It had also been announced that flags above the City Chambers will fly at half mast on Saturday morning as a sign of mourning and respect for the late Pontiff.
Archbishop Nolan said: "I am truly grateful to the Lord Provost and the City Council for this initiative which will allow people of all faiths and none to record their thoughts, or just leave their name in tribute to Pope Francis."
